A large-scale panel of extraordinary architectural presence, worked entirely in platinum, pewter, and antique silver on a ground of deep charcoal and slate. The composition is structured as a formal interior panel — an ornate outer border enclosing a recessed inner field — echoing the carved stone screens and jaali work of Mughal palace architecture. The border carries continuous scrolling paisleys, full-bloom florals, and circular medallions, each set with large faceted crystals that explode with light in outdoor and directional lighting, photographed here catching the open sky. The inner field is a flowing garden of climbing roses, tulips, and botanical vines rendered in the same silver relief, more delicate in scale but equal in intricacy. A continuous line of baguette and round crystals runs along every structural border, giving the piece a precise, jewelled architecture that reads from across a room. Shot in natural daylight, the piece reveals its full range — from near-black in shadow to brilliant silver in light. This is the most palatial work in the collection, and the most quietly powerful.
