A mandala of profound depth and age, worked entirely in antique bronze, dark gold, and smouldering charcoal on a ground that feels less painted and more excavated — as though this piece was unearthed rather than made. The texture is the most raw and elemental of the collection, with heavily built relief work that catches light in unpredictable ways, shifting from warm molten gold to near-black as the viewing angle changes. Concentric rings of individually set diamond-white crystals spiral inward with quiet insistence toward a single gemstone at the absolute centre, the only point of stillness in an otherwise turbulent surface. The outer border carries scrolling paisleys and foliate forms rendered in the same aged bronze, dense and continuous, framing the composition like the walls of an ancient temple that has survived everything. This is a piece for someone who values patina over polish, and permanence over decoration.
